We convey internships in the USA and China. Here you can find possible practical trainings for China and the USA. The work placements described in here are just examples. Please apply even if you can not find a suiting internship, so that we can find you fastly new practical trainings.

Preconditions for application

student at a universitiy in Germany, Austria or Switzerland during the time of the practical training

intermediate diploma successfully passed

                Diploma course:          intermediate diploma succeesfully passed
                Bachelor:                      four semester succesfully passed
                Magister:                      intermediate exam
                Master:                        from the first semester onwards

practical experience in Germany (apprenticeship, internship, jobs,..)

Unfortunately applications from BA students can not be considered due to law arrangements.

We offer internship for the following courses:

economic sciences

civil engineering

computing sciences

there are als other courses possible according to the required knowledge and practical experience (e.g. sinology)

Application procedure

The application at CIIP proceeds as follows:

1st step: downloading the documents

Download of the Bewerbungsunterlagen from the CIIP side
Important advices for the documents:

If you have problems with entering the date or time --> leave the array unfilled and write a note in the email or the arry *Bemerkungen* (DON'T convert the word document)

NO attached scanned certificates, references or similar documents!

If the documents are bigger than 400Kb please zip it.

Please provide attached fotos as .jpg or an extra word document.

Your signature is not required until the application talk --> Please do NOT scan the application form!!

2nd step: sending the documents

Fill in and send them back to the group of applicants
After the arrival of your application you receive a written confirmation.
Inquiries via email that are answered at the homepage can not be answered. We ask you to have sympathy!

3rd step: admission into the group of applicants

After receiving your application we look through your documents und admiss you into the group af applicants (if the preconditions are fulfilled). If your papers are not complete we will contact you.
The free membership lasts 1 year. After this period of time you will be deleted automatically, if your datas are not updated.

4th step: interview

If we have an internship matching your profil (interests, requirements, period of time) we invite you to an interview to Dresden. This is equally devided into a german and an english part and takes about 30 to 45 minutes.
If the inerview is satisfying, we conclude an internship contract with you. With this conclusion the deposit of 150€ is to be paid. If you do not get placed, the money is fully returned after one year or the cancelling of the contract.

5th step: finding

If you are interested into the internship and the preconditions are fufilled, your documents (curriculum vitae and evaluation by the CIIP) are sent to the company together with one or two other proposals. The final decision who gets the work placement is up to the corporation.

Deposit

For the placement we demand a deposit of 150 €, being paid back as follows:

If we can not provide an internship for you the deposit is fully returned.
25 € are returned, if we get a report of your experinces.
Further 50 € are being returned, if the internship is offered again to us.
75 € are being kept in case of placement.
